Fiastra is a scattered town in the province of Macerata, whose municipal headquarters is located in Trebbio; nearby is an artificial lake along whose shores some receptive and recreational activities have developed. On January 1, 2017 it incorporated the former municipality of Acquacanina, which has become its hamlet and extends over a predominantly mountainous territory, at 734 m a.s.l.

The name derives from a probable inhabited Piceno near the Fiastrone, with the meaning of river, waterway.

In the area you can take walks and hikes during the year; the resort is ideal for cross-country skiing thanks to the presence of five rings of cross-country slopes.
