PROFILE
For the Allegrini family, growing vineyards and producing wine is a tradition that was born in 1960, first from the passion of my grandfather Enrico, then from that of my father Celestino.
The grapes produced are processed in our cellar, with avant-garde equipment, but through ancient techniques, expertly handed down from father to son.
Following the specifications of organic agriculture in a strict manner, the company cultivates seventeen hectares of its own vineyards, located partly in the territory of Lapedona and partly inland, in the Municipality of Force, thirty-five kilometers from the coast.
In Lapedona, the gravely soils, facing south and reached by the sea breeze, are particularly suitable for the cultivation of late red berry grape varieties (such as Montepulciano and Cabernet Sauvignon). In this microclimate, the grapes can ripen perfectly, enriching themselves with those exceptional scents that characterize Allegrini products. Similarly, the earliest grapes, both red berry, such as Sangiovese and Merlot, and white berries, such as Passerina, Pecorino and Trebbiano, are grown in the Municipality of Force, where the more rigid climate favors slow maturation and the structure of medium-pasture soils combined with the exposure to the south, allow perfect maturation.
