PROFILE
Morro d’Alba. Inland of the province of Ancona. Ten kilometers from the Adriatic Sea.
The climate can be harsh, the humidity accentuates the phenomena: very hot in summer, heavy snowfall in winter. But the territory is kissed by the unrepeatable design of the hills, which go down to the sea.
And the countryside is fertile, generous, moldable like the clay it is made of. Here the native Lacrima grape variety of Morro d’Alba thrives.
And here the Lucchetti family has taken root.
It began in the 80s with the first hectares of Lacrima vineyard in Morro d’Alba, one of the first designations of Controlled Origin for the enhancement of native vines.
Mario has thus become one of the most important producers of Lacrima di Morro d’Alba in the area.
