PROFILE
The Accadia winery was founded in 1983.
At the end of the 70s, Angelo Accadia and his wife Maria decided to leave the city and move to the heart of the Marche region, in one of the areas most dedicated to wine production.
It is in the municipality of Serra San Quirico, among green hills drawn by oak forests, vineyards and olive groves, that they find inspiration to build a life project that has been going on for more than 40 years.
Silent and attentive mignaiolo, over time Angelo has created a sustainable environment and a system rich in biodiversity. Its wines tell of a generous land in the foothills, influenced by sea currents and proximity to the mountains.
In the 9 hectares of vineyard, the work of the Accadia family focuses on the enhancement of Verdicchio, the prince grape variety of the Marche, which right on the hills of the Castelli di Jesi finds its area of choice. Through the study of the soils, the selection of grapes, the choice of harvest times and low yields, Angelo has developed over the years a deep knowledge of the terroir and a remarkable confidence with the grape variety, making him one of the greatest experts in Verdicchio.
