The D’Ercoli agricultural company was founded in 1989 by the brothers Roberto and Daniele D’Ercoli, descendants of a family of winemakers, with the aim of producing fine wines on the hills of the Marche in the municipality of Cossignano (AP). In an area where there is a deep-rooted wine-growing tradition, today the company has become an important reality in the Piceno area with its 14 hectares which extend along hills with clayey, silty-limestone soils, not far from the Adriatic Sea which guarantees the climate mild, ideal for growing vines. The attention and search for quality in the production process can only start with excellent grapes. In fact, the D’Ercoli company, for which the quality of its products is an absolute priority, reduces the production of grapes taken from each single plant by grassing the vineyards, to the full advantage of the properties of the fruit itself. The journey then, passing through daily care, arrives at the harvest, carried out manually and ends in the modern cellar, equipped with the best oenological tools, with the aim of guaranteeing the final product the virtues that the D’Ercoli brothers require for their own clients.
On the D’Ercoli estate, red grape vineyards such as Sangiovese, Montepulciano and Cabernet Sauvignon and white grape vineyards such as Malvasia, Passerina and Pecorino are cultivated. The latter in particular represents for the company, as well as for the entire Piceno area, recognition at a national and international level of the results obtained thanks to constant growth in the area in pursuing the improvement of the wines and the recovery of ancient native vines .
