PROFILE
In the early 90e the vineyards were gradually renewed following an approach aimed at quality and territoriality.
Implanting the native grape varieties: from Ribona (in the past Greco Maceratese, then Montecchiese or Maceratino) to Trebbiano, from Montepulciano to Sangiovese, from Lacrima to Vernaccia Nera, the link with the territory has always distinguished and rewarded our wines.
Our cellars are located within an ancient rural structure dating back to the end of the 700s. Placed partly below ground level and all protected by thick brick walls enjoy natural constant values for room temperature and relative humidity, which allow appropriate maintenance of wooden containers and optimal maturation of wines. In the premises that were once tobacco dryers, two cellars have been obtained, equipped with stainless steel containers and equipment, aimed at the processing and sale of bulk wines that, together with the old cook still used for the winemaking and aging of reds in oak vats and barrels, perfectly combine tradition and technology with the aim of achieving and maintaining high quality standards, preserving the genuineness of the products.
From the cellar, through niches and narrow tunicoles, an ancient passage runs through the subsoil of the property. Today the underground cave, used for the conservation of the most valuable company reserves, periodically hosts exhibitions and events.
