Saputi Winerys
In the Heart of Le Marche
In the first half of the twentieth century the founder, Angelo Saputi, created Cantina Saputi, one of the first vineyards in the region that produced wines of great character. His son Adriano continued his work and expanded the canteen building a new one near a mountain called Castru Vecchiu.
Since then, the family has put all its effort to develop the business, introducing the indigenous Ribona and new varieties of territorial and international wine such as Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Passerina, Chardonnay, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc.
For 4 generations
Today, the Cantina is a family-run business managed by Alvaro Saputi and his two sons: Leonardo, a specialized viticulturist and Andrea, the sales manager.
<>h3Organic cultivation
Organic cultivation Attention to the vineyards, the land and the love for their children have pushed the Saputi family towards organic cultivation, without pesticides and chemical products; in 2016 all conventional crops were converted to BIO, so most of the products are “certified organic”.
Our production
Today, Cantina Saputi can count more than 20 hectares of vineyards, 10 labels and an annual volume of about 90 thousand bottles. Among them, the indigenous “Ribona” has always been an excellent protagonist, with a mission to increase the popularity of the Doc Colli Maceratesi Ribona across Italy and beyond.
